The excitement is building on the Mater Campus! Here is some exciting news about the development of our Master Plan at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. As many of you know, our school launched a forward-focused Strategic Plan in January 2017. As we implement our Plan, “Inspiring Faith Filled Women of Courage and Confidence,” we have been moving “full steam ahead” to transform learning spaces on the Rosary and Mater campuses. Joys of Christmas

Sometimes, it is easy to romanticize Christmas. After all, there are so many experiences during this time of the year that help us relish the joy of Christmas. There are the many fragrances of Christmas in the pine cones, the smell of the tree, and the wonderful fragrances of baked Christmas cookies. The Blessing of Family

On Sunday, Catholics celebrated the "Feast of the Holy Family," appropriately positioned in the liturgical calendar on the Sunday following Christmas. Along with the many opportunities to share time with my family over the holidays, the feast day awakened special memories of growing up in my family of 10 children, 6 girls and 4 boys.
